Teaching

In addition to developing my program of research, I have taught courses in Introductory, Personality, and Abnormal/Clinical Psychology. In my courses, I seek to combine cutting-edge research and real-world contexts with teaching methodologies informed by my formal training in effective pedagogy and science communications. In the future, I plan to develop advanced seminar courses on Personality and Social Neuroscience, Personality Psychopathology, and Applied Latent Variable Modeling. Having spent four years as a Psychology Instructor at Augsburg University in addition to teaching at the University of Minnesota, I have experience with class sizes ranging from 10 to 100+ students.
